Last year using my simple method I took my £5,000 starting bank to £22,102.60 an increase on the year of £17,102.60, that’s more than we expected to make but who’s complaining!
This is my account as it stands right now!
I’m about to withdraw a chunk of that cash this week and get ready to go again starting Monday 28th November.
Last year we overachieved.
The goal was to make just short of £14,500 over the course of the year, but like I said no one’s complaining and what a time of year to be cashing out. That’s why we start this when we do, it means we can cash out at the end of the year betting in time for Christmas!
You might be thinking, how can a simple method that only requires 1-2 bets per day pull in so much money? How can we increase a bank by 442% in a single year.

Setting Realistic Targets
The reason most punters fail is because they have unrealistic targets when it comes to their betting, they want to land a 100/1 every week, they want to land a life changing bet with crazy odds – don’t get me wrong, we all do. You simply cannot rely on that as a long term strategy. Its like expecing to win the lottery, we all want to, some will but if that’s the basket with all your eggs in then you’re not long for this game.
What I have managed to develop over my years of betting is a way to pick up short priced winners on the win and place markets, wins that occur with a high strike rate but where there are limited chances available each day.
I’d rather see winners at low odds than losers at any odds and because I want to be as sure as I can over every single bet then it means we’re only placing 1-2 bets per day.
So how about if I was to make just 0.5pts profit per day.
We do that 6 days per week, that’s 3pts profit per week.
and if we do that 4 weeks of the month, we hit 12pts profit or an increase of 12% on the bank.
How Bank Growth Works At 12%
This is where compounding comes in, if you’re unsure what this is its where we increase the value of a bet as we add profit to the bank.
Using a 100pt bank and placing level 1pt staked bets would mean if you had £1,000 as your bank then you would place £10 on each bet.
With compounding we increase this as the bank grows – I advise doing it each month, so if we grow out bank by 12% we take out £1,000 bank to £1,120 at the end of the first month, so in month 2 we place a 1pt stake of £11.20 on each bet and so on.
Its this method that makes betting with a reliable, high strike rate system very profitable, look at the figures for these different starting banks:
As you can see a £1,000 starting bank would turn into £3,895 after 12 months, £5,000 into £19,479 and so on.
This year we over achieved on the 12% goal on a few months and also came up short a couple of times. Its all about having an achieveable goal, so we can hit a high strike rate so as we increase the stakes we feel confident to do so.
