Hello, beautiful creatures! Today I’m sharing my FUN Holo Boss Prisma Eyeshadow Look with you. Fun Lacquer is an indie brand from Singapore. They spent five years developing their Holo Boss Prisma eyeshadow formula, which is a hybrid gel formula with holographic micro flakies, not glitter. It can be worn alone, or on top of another eyeshadow. I chose to show it to you on top of Devinah Salvator the most beautiful red metallic eyeshadow I own.
Everything purchased by me and all opinions my own.

Holo Boss Prisma Eyeshadow Thoughts
Fun Lacquer Holo Boss Prisma Eyeshadow is described as a 100% holographic eyeshadow. It’s the most expensive single eyeshadow I’ve ever purchased at $49! The formula feels unique, the gel hybrid is very silky, doesn’t feel wet or clumpy, and glides across my eyes. Seeing Holo Boss Prisma on top of a red on my eyes does brighten and add a scattered holo effect. Next time I’ll be wearing Holo Boss Prisma on its own or layered on top of a silver to see if I can bring out more of its holographic nature.
Based on my many holographic nail polishes, I suspect I’ll prefer nails to eyeshadow for holographic goodness, but I don’t regret buying this eyeshadow, even with its huge price tag.

I felt the need to break out a wig. I haven’t worn my black wig in forever!

How I Applied my Foundation
I experimented with using Auric Glow Lust in Morganite 2.0 as my base makeup layer since it has light coverage and a beautiful glow. Then I applied Rare Beauty Warm Wishes Effortless Bronzer Stick in Bright Side to my face and blended it out. I tapped a tiny amount of Rare Beauty Positive Light Under Eye Brightener in Light under my eyes and blended it out. Then I used a dense brush to apply Monika Blunder Foundation in Eins to the rest of my face.
To add more color to my face, I used Silk Naturals Sheer Bronzer in Malibu Miss on top of everywhere I used Bright Side. I then added a true cool-toned blush REM Beauty Hypernova Satin Matte Blush in Pinking of You. To amp that up, I draped Black Moon Shroom on top of the blush and highlighted my cheekbones and eyes. I attempted to carefully apply ByTerry Pressed Hydra Powder to my smile lines and forehead. I still used way too much Laura Mercier Undereye Setting Powder under my eyes. Someday I’ll get better at using a minimal amount.

REM Beauty 7 Rings LE Plumping Gloss
I love the REM Beauty 7 Rings LE Plumping Gloss. It does have a bit of a tingle, I don’t know if it visibly plumps or not, but I ended up buying it because it sounded like a duochrome gloss, which it is. It’s golden champagne with a pink shift. This REM Beauty gloss, 7 Rings, is limited edition. However, I have an indie dupe for it! Silk Naturals Hex is a great dupe! I can’t currently locate my Hex stick and I wanted that duochrome effect on top of the black, then I remembered this gloss, so I used it. So if you’re looking for an REM Beauty 7 Rings dupe in the future, check out Silk Naturals Hex!

Best Red Eyeshadow
Many of you asked me to recommend a best metallic red eyeshadow and while I’ve tried many in my time (Fyrinnae and Aromaleigh have both made some stunners), right now the best metallic red eyeshadow I own is Devinah Salvatore. I believe the name is a nod to the Vampire Diaries (one of my all-time favorite tv shows, definitely a comfort show to watch). And yes, it’s a vegan red. Finally, you can’t beat the price of $6!

Monika Blunder Blunder Cover All in One Foundation
I’ve bought and tried so many foundations over the past two years. I will be systematically wear testing each of my foundations so that I can rank them for you later this year. The Monika Blunder Blunder Cover All in One Foundation claims to be an all-in-one foundation and concealer, and it really works. It truly functions like that for me! I have been using this to spot conceal around my face, whether or not I’m wearing this foundation. Much like a stick foundation, the formula is flexible so I can apply it as a sheer foundation or build it up to full coverage. The shade Eins matches me perfectly.
The biggest surprise about the Monika Blunder Blunder Cover All in One Foundation is that it’s silicone free, yet it makes me feel like my imperfections are blurred. Normally I need a product with silicone to help minimize my pores and fine lines. Yes, pores and fine lines are normal, especially in 45 year old skin like mine, but I like a formula that blurs/minimizes them instead of emphasizes them.
Every time I apply and wear this foundation, it makes me happy. The product blends seamlessly into my skin. I’m glad that I finally tried the Monika Blunder Blunder Cover All in One Foundation on top of Auric Glow Lust in Morganite 2.0. This might be my new going out combo because I felt radiant!
Final Thoughts
It feels like forever since I’ve regularly applied foundation or put together a full face of makeup. I keep practicing with shading the perimeter of my face to add more dimension and depth to my makeup looks. Rare Beauty Warm Wishes Effortless Bronzer Stick in Bright Side is excellent to use for underpainting.
