SmallRig has introduced a new cost-effective wireless follow-focus system, the SmallRig Wireless Follow Focus Lite (Model 4296), designed to be accessible to a wide range of users.
Building on the success of its predecessor, this system offers many advanced features found in the higher-end MagiFiz system, showcasing low latency and an impressive battery life that lasts throughout the day.

Model 4296 is capable of providing approximately 4.3kg of force per square centimeter (equivalent to about 61 pounds per square inch), ensuring seamless operation with heavy cinema lenses or longer telephoto lenses without any binding or slowdown.
The wireless remote features three modes for automatic, manual, and combined adjustments.
Additionally, the system incorporates one-touch calibration buttons, as well as buttons to mark focusing points A and B.
The transmitter and receiver seamlessly pair with unified light indicators and an auto-sync start-up, facilitating a quick setup process for camera operators.

Equipped with a built-in 1,400 mAh rechargeable lithium battery, Model 4296 offers up to 21 hours of standby time. The 12V USB-PD and QC fast charging port enable the system to be fully charged in under an hour.
Furthermore, the rig includes a smart sleep system that conserves power by putting the device to sleep during standby, ensuring prolonged battery life.
The Lite device is compatible with a wide range of lenses and offers precise control over focusing and zoom functions.
Notably, the focus wheel is also compatible with SmallRig’s MagicFiz focus device, and the receiving motor can be controlled using the MagicFiz wireless remote.
The SmallRig Wireless Follow Focus Lite includes a focus wheel, receiver motor, NATO Rail-equipped mounting rod, 15mm rod, snap-on focusing ring, handle adapter, cables, wrenches, and a durable plastic hard shell carrying case with foam inserts for added protection.
