Spending a grand on a TV is what we’d call a “big-time purchase” around these parts. But spending just under a thousand dollars while also saving another $1K, well, we call that a deal—a very big deal, in fact. The 65-inch TCL Q Series QM851G television scored an “Excellent” rating from our expert in their review. And that was when it was full-price!
If picture quality is your particular point of contention, then let our expert assuage you that this one is about as bright as they come. “In the battle of TV brightness, TCL’s flagship Q Series stands above all others, wowing us with the highest light output we’ve ever seen. It beats the latest flagship models from Hisense for this spec by a good margin, even if the difference comes down to (literal) nitpicks.” We are also fans of its dark and subtle design, with almost no bezel as well as its gaming performance thanks to a 120Hz panel that supports up to 144Hz variable refresh rate (if you’re a gamer, this is kind of a big deal). Supports the usual suspects like Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, and hands-free Google Assistant. But that price drop, that big, beautiful price drop makes this one a can’t miss deal.
