Move over, classic reds – this autumn is all about deep, luxurious browns. From milk chocolate to dark espresso, these warm hues are perfect for the cosy season ahead. The latte makeup trend that’s been sweeping TikTok has extended to nails, with coffee-inspired shades taking centre stage.
Metallic Manis
Shimmering, reflective nails are making a big comeback this season. The fall 2024 runways showcased a variety of metallic looks, from classic golds and silvers to more unexpected champagne tones. At Mithridate AW24, the classic french mani was updated with striking gold tips, while dramatic metallic nails were the order of the day at The Blonds.
Elevated French Manicure
Speaking of a modern twist on a classic French manicure, AW24 calls for a more creative take on the look. Work an androgynous vibe with micro French tips or update the look with an unexpected colour combination. Glass Nails
Following the chrome nail trend of recent seasons, glass nails are set to be huge as an autumn nail trend for 2024. Think an ultra-glossy, reflective finish that mimics the look of glass (obviously!). A milky white hue can be finished with a high shine top coat or a touch of chrome for a mirror gloss finish.
