The mic is announced as a solution for content creators who want a versatile solution in a small package, similar to what DJI and RØDE already have on the market.A first look at the BOYAMICThe BOYAMIC features 8GB memory ensuring 15-hour on-board recording, which should be more than enough for almost every situation a content creator can find. With a sampling rate of 48kHz, a bit depth of 24-bit, a signal-to-noise ratio of 90 dB, and a maximum sound pressure level (SPL) of 120 dB, the company aims to place the BOYAMIC into the category of a professional-grade device. It features three recording modes (mono, stereo, and safety track) and is designed to perform in varied situations like broadcasting, videos, podcasts, music, content creation, etc. The BOYAMIC offers a straightforward setup thanks to its lightning type-C connectors and a 3.5mm TRS to 3.5mm TRS adapter cable, simplifying its usability. It also features an HD OLED display and real-time playback monitoring.
