The Rom-Commers by Katherine Center – I thought this was cute! Very easy to plow through, especially knowing what was (likely) going to happen in the end. Predictable but I don’t say that negatively. It’s like serving yourself a slice of your favorite pie, you know it’s going to be good.
Seven Summers by Paige Toon – I adored this story. I listened to it on audible and really loved the narration. It left me wondering which direction she was going to go, and I loved the experience of waiting to find out.
When Ashes Fall (Moments in Boston) by Marni Mann – I didn’t really love this book. It was fine but not a story I really got into.
Summer Romance by Annabel Monaghan – Another easy summer romance book by Annabel. It was a very fast “read” (I listened to it) and I liked the story.
All The Colors of the Dark by Chris Whitaker – I am slowly trudging through this book. It is *slow*. It’s my book club’s pick for this month so I need to finish it but again. . . it is slow moving.
Pretty Things by Janelle Brown – I felt a little lost during this book, and maybe it was due to all the twists and turns? I liked the mystery but found myself confused and a bit bored at times.
A Talent for Murder by Peter Swanson – I appreciated the unique storyline here and enjoyed the journey of wondering who was the bad guy. I wouldn’t describe it as gripping but it moved along nicely to keep my interest.
Kulti by Mariana Zapata – I’m currently reading this. I’m interested but it’s been a bit of a slow go.
In The Likely Event by Rebecca Yarros – I’m currently listening to this and enjoying it so far!
