Accsoon has announced its latest video transmission system, the Accsoon CineView Master 4K. As the name suggests, it supports and transmits 4K video. It does this at up to 60 frames per second with only 25ms (0.025s) of latency. That’s less than 2 frames of video.
It’s the first transmission system from Accsoon that uses tri-band technology, operating on 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHz frequencies. This allows it to have a massive 2.5km (1.55 miles) of transmission range with greater interference resistance.
Update: We got to check the new Accsoon toys and speak to the folks at Accsoon in person during IBC 2024 in Amsterdam. So, here’s our first look at the new Accsoon CineView Master 4K. I have to say, it looks very impressive.
Accsoon CineView Master 4K – Super low 25ms latency
Accsoon’s been releasing some impressive video transmission hardware this year. We had the Accsoon SeeMo 4K ($179) in March and the Accsoon CineView 2 SDI ($259-499) in April – along with the Accsoon Como wireless headsets ($269-2,299). Now, we’ve got the CineView Master 4K.
It transmits 4K video at up to 60 frames per second with only 25ms of latency. It operates on a tri-band system running on 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHz. The key part of that arrangement is the 6GHz frequencies, which aren’t heavily populated yet. Accsoon says this allows very fast transfer rates with minimal interference.
It transmits video signals up to a distance of 2.5km, and you don’t even need the receiver to watch it. You can also transmit directly to your smartphone or tablet using the Accsoon app. Obviously, the range on these won’t be quite as high as using the dedicated receiver, but it’s a versatile ability.

Multiple connectivity options
The Accsoon CineView Master 4K transmitter features both SDI and HDMI inputs with HDMI and USB video loop-through outputs. The receiver offers only both SDI and HDMI outputs. Both units can be powered by either a Sony NP-F style battery or DC barrel jack input between 7.4-16.8v.
It’s a little disappointing that there’s no USB-C power option on these, but there aren’t a lot of systems out there that can transmit 4K video at this sort of price. And many of them can struggle with latency issues. Even the quick ones only just manage to hit 30ms. So, we have to take what we can get.

Accsoon’s managed to beat that 30ms barrier, though, with a latency of only 25ms. That’s 0.025 seconds. When transmitting at 60fps, this means your monitor – assuming the monitor itself doesn’t create more latency – should never be more than about a frame and a half behind what’s happening in front of the camera.
It also borrows some technology from the aforementioned SeeMo 4K with a certified MFi connection. So, you can tether your iPhone or iPad to the transmitter – hence the USB video output – turning them into fully-fledged on-camera monitors.
Price and Availability
The Accsoon CineView Master 4K should become available to pre-order soon, with the transmitter and receiver kit priced at $849. Accsoon says the units “will ship in Q3 2024”, but they’d better hurry because Q3 ends in less than three weeks.
