There's nothing especially "treadmill" oriented about this, it's just a standard AC cable with a standard C13 connector. It is only 18AWG wire, which is pretty common in these cables, but it also has very thin insulation making the cable relatively small. This can certainly be a good thing, but if you have a situation where your cable might see some abuse or might require heavier current capability, this might not be what you need.
This would be excellent for electronic devices and the 9.8ft length is handy. I'm a little concerned that if used with audio equipment (my intended use), the cable might be prone to picking up interference through the thin insulation, but if I have problems, I'm sure I can still use it somewhere. I'm not worried about it. It appears to be decent quality, albeit light weight. Other 18AWG power cords I have are usually thicker than this.
At $21, this seems a little high priced for what it is. The only benefits of this cable are the length and small cable diameter (if you need that). You really should be able to get 2 10ft cables like this for that price, just search for a C13 power cable!
